Julie was born in Surrey in 1977. After studying for 4 years at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design, she now works as a professional wildlife artist from her home in Cornwall. Julie works solely in pencil, creating highly detailed drawings and prints.
Julie has worked with many charities producing drawings and prints to raise funds. As a keen surfer, Julie produced the winning artwork for Surf Girl magazines’ competition with S.A.S “surfers against Sewage” to clean up our beaches and protect the UK’s coastal wildlife.
She has won many awards and was selected as a finalist for ‘David Shepherd’s Wildlife Artist Of The Year competition 2011’.
Julie is also a published children’s author and has worked in collaboration with renowned illustrator ‘Korky Paul’ on their new book “The Very Noisy House” released in July 2013.
